Onward
July 2010, with a band of six figurines (forever pushing and pulling their handcarts), I traveled across a small portion of the original Oregon-California-Mormon Pioneer Trail in Wyoming—starting at historic landmarks, but quickly encountering a contemporary Western landscape as the trail turned into a highway. I continued following the path to Utah, shooting in Salt Lake City and my hometown of Provo.
